Botswana

One of the most sparsely inhabited countries in Africa, Botswana is considered one of the last unspoiled corners of the continent.

Its varied landscape – from the Chobe River and the Okavango wetlands, to the orange sands of the Kalahari and the stark grey salt pans of the Makgadikgadi – make this country a kaleidoscope of colour and contrast.

One of the most diverse wildlife areas in Africa, famous for its massive herds of elephant.

SAFARI

Chobe National Park, the Okavanga Delta and the Kalahari Game Reserve are the most well-known safari destinations in Botswana.  Chobe is famous for its huge elephant herds; the Okavango for its winding waterways, excellent mokoro canoe trips and land-based game viewing; and the Kalahari for migrating game that have adapted to desert conditions to survive.
